The pastors of several Memphis Catholic churches spoke out in the pulpit yesterday against plans of John Gaston Hospital to make birth control pills available to mothers who have had babies there. The bulletin of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 4851 Park, asked “prayers for the physician of John Gaston Hospital and the patients who follow his advice and violate the natural law.” The pastor repeated this request for prayers in his sermon.
