Maybelline Garnier volunteer team gives cosmetic makeovers at Memphis Jewish Home
Patients and residents of Memphis Jewish Home & Rehab were recently treated to a makeover including makeup and nail polish compliments of a group of local employees of Maybelline Garnier, a division of L’Oréal USA, for their annual Volunteer Day. Volunteers visit residents with a variety of makeup items, colors, etc., along with many Essie nail polish color choices.
This year marks the fifth nationwide day of service for L’Oréal USA with more than 3,000 employees giving back to the communities in which they live and work.

Volunteer Day gives all of us the opportunity to share our talents and time with the local communities in which we live and work.”
“You could see from the expressions on our ladies’ faces how much they enjoyed this makeover event,” said Joel Ashner, community relations director for MJHR. “It was such a treat for them. The volunteers were so wonderful. Not only did they give makeovers, but they also took time to talk with of each of our patients and residents who attended the event.”
Globally, L’Oréal celebrates its Volunteer Day during the month of June with more than 20,000 volunteers around the world. This year, 60 countries will host days of service including China, France, Brazil and South Africa. The program was started by the New York office of L’Oréal USA in 2006 and rolled out to all
