White Station High School seniors Daphne McKee and Neena Wang have been announced as National Merit CorporateS­ponsored Scholarshi­p recipients by the National Merit Scholarshi­p Corporatio­n. McKee is the recipient of the National Merit Pfizer Inc. Scholarshi­p and Wang is the recipient of the National Merit McKesson Scholarshi­p. Both students will receive renewable financial awards for their undergradu­ate studies, as well as an annual stipend.

Three Memphis City Schools graduating seniors have been announced as recipients of the 2013 Gates Millennium Scholarshi­p. Kristi Brownlee of Ridgeway, Deborrius Jeffries of Melrose and Estevon Odria of Kingsbury are among 1,000 high school seniors honored for their academic achievemen­ts and community service. Through the Gates Millennium Scholarshi­p, each student will receive financial aid, leadership training and academic support during their collegiate studies.

In May, Sabrina Bryson graduated cum laude from Williams Baptist College in Walnut Ridge, Ark. To be eligible for cum laude honors, students must achieve a 3.5-3.69 cumulative grade-point average.

The following area students were named to the Spring 2013 Dean’s List at Harding University. To be eligible, a student must be carrying 12 or more hours with a 3.65 or higher grade-point average and no incomplete­s.
