Wendy’s selling 425 restaurants

Wendy’s is selling 425 restaurants to franchisees to help improve profit margins. The sale will reduce its ownership to 15 percent of its stores, down from 22 percent. The Dublin, Ohio-based chain reported quarterly earnings of $12.2 million, up from a $5.5 million loss a year ago.
