Spartan star delays college decision

White Station senior linebacker Petera Wilson, who was scheduled to announce his college decision Friday before his Spartans took on Mississippi powerhouse South Panola, has chosen to postpone his decision until the end of the season, he said this week.

“I have to be more focused on the season ahead,” Wilson said. “I don’t have time to think about the recruiting season (right now).”

Wilson said he is considering Ohio State, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Florida State, Miami, and Georgia. He’s ranked the No. 85 player in the nation by Rivals.com and listed as a 4-star prospect.
