Rookie Elena Delle Donne scored 25 points and Chicago strengthen­ed its hold on the Eastern Conference lead by beating the cold-shooting Atlanta Dream 67-56 on Saturday night in Atlanta. Sylvia Fowles had 10 points and 13 rebounds and Swin Cash had 12 points for the Sky (20-8). Chicago, which has won five straight, stretched its lead in the East to 4 games over second-place Atlanta. Angel McCoughtry had 20 points for the Dream (14-11), who fell to 11-2 at home.

Maya Moore scored a career-high 35 points and the Minnesota Lynx beat the visiting Indiana Fever 84-77. Seimone Augustus had 17 points and Janel McCarville added 12 for the Lynx (20-7), who won for the third time in four games and lead Los Angeles by 1 ½ games atop the Western Conference. Tamika Catchings scored 22 points and Shavonte Zellous had 19 as the Fever (12-15) fell a half-game behind Washington for third place in the Eastern Conference.

SOCCER

Marco Di Vaio scored two goals to lead the host Montreal Impact to a 5- 0 win over the Houston Dynamo on Saturday night. Di Vaio and Felipe Martins scored minutes apart in the first half to put Montreal up by two. Jeb Brovsky made it 3-0 in the 58th minute and Di Vaio finished off a two-man break on a pass from Patrice Bernier for his fourth goal in two games.
