ORANGE FEVER UTHSC bookstore reopens as an official Volshop

University of Tennessee fans in Memphis now have an improved opportunity to purchase the branded orange-and-white merchandise that shows their school spirit with the grand reopening of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center Bookstore as an official VolShop.

The new VolShop, located on the UTHSC campus in the Madison Plaza Building, adjacent to 930 Madison, will offer students and the community “the same great services and products that our Knoxville students receive,” said Gary Carter, store manager.

The UTHSC VolShop offers a wide variety of school supplies, text and trade books, study guides, technology and apparel, both in-store and online. In the near future, the community will be able to use “shop.uthsc.edu” for online orders, but for now online ordering can be done at http://shop.utk.edu. The store will carry UTHSC merchandise, as well as general UT apparel. UTHSC students will also be able to order their books online with in-store pickup.

“The partnership between UTHSC and VolShop presents tremendous opportunities and benefits for our entire campus community,” said Tony Ferrara, UTHSC vice chancellor and chief financial officer. “This organization has a deep appreciation for our brand and a clear understanding of the needs of UT campus communities. That will make a significant difference in how they support and serve the diverse needs of our faculty, staff and students.”

The VolShop, formerly the UT Bookstore, is headquartered in the University Center on The University of Tennessee, Knoxville campus. It operates four other locations on the Knoxville campus, including the Tennessee Athletics Official Team Shop in Neyland Stadium.
