Two more men charged in Holly Bobo abduction case
Two more suspects have been charged in the case of Holly Bobo, the West Tennessee nursing student abducted more than three years ago whose body still has not been found.
Mark Pearcy and Jeffrey Pearcy have each been charged with tampering with evidence and accessory after the fact, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation spokesman Josh DeVine said late Tuesday.
They join two others already arrested in the case. Zachary Adams, apparently the lead suspect, was indicted on murder and kidnapping charges in March. He has pleaded not guilty. Jason Autry was also charged with murder and kidnapping.
Bobo, then 20 years old, disappeared from her Darden, Tennessee, home in April 2011. Prosecutors and TBI officials have released few details.
“However, out of respect for the judicial process, we cannot speak to the particular possible pieces of evidence in this case. We continue our work to follow the leads wherever they might lead. We won’t stop until we find a sense of justice and closure for the family and friends of Holly Bobo,” DeVine said in a statement.
