Tiger exhibition schedule released

A pair of games against Canadian national crown winner Carleton University highlight the University of Memphis’ four-game exhibition tour in Canada in August.

The trip is slated for Aug. 15-20. Memphis will play four games in four days in Ottawa and Montreal, beginning with an Aug. 16 game against Carleton.

The Tigers will play the University of Ottawa on Aug. 17, McGill University on Aug. 18 and Carleton again on Aug. 19.

Carleton beat TCU (77-51) and Wisconsin (95-82) during a four-game exhibition schedule last August and narrowly lost to Syracuse (69- 65).

“The most important thing about putting this trip together was finding great competition, and this tour has it,” coach Josh Pastner said in a release.
