A $1 million museum housing more than 20 of Elvis Presley’s cars, motorcycle­s and play vehicles will open Monday. The 13,000-squarefoot facility at the south end of the Graceland visitor center across from the mansion opens at 10 a.m. An evening drive depicting Elvis’ love affair with motor vehicles will be simulated in the museum. Elvis’ two Stutzes, a 1956 Lincoln Continenta­l, the 1971 white Mercedes convertibl­e Elvis gave Priscilla, Elvis’ black Ferrari, and the pink Cadillac Elvis gave his parents will be on display.

Two Memphis girls, Misses Octavia Evans and Marie Fontaine, today will be presented to King George and Queen Elizabeth of England at the Hyde Park residence of President Roosevelt. They were among the five students at Bennett School in Milbrook, N.Y., selected to attend the fete.
