Jason Bohn had a 4-under 67 on a rainy Saturday to take a one-shot lead over Shawn Stefani after the third round of the OHL Classic at Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Bohn was at 15-under 198. Michael Putnam, the 36-hole leader, shot 78 and was nine shots behind. ... At Mexico City, Christina Kim shot a 4-under 68 to increase her lead to five strokes in the LPGA’s Lorena Ochoa Invitation­al. Kim had a 14-under 202 total at Club de Golf Mexico. China’s Shanshan Feng was second. ... Ian Poulter squandered a six-shot lead and trails Wade Ormsby of Australia by one stroke heading into the final round at the Turkish Airlines Open at Belek, Turkey. Ormsby eagled his ninth hole and finished with a third-round 68 for a 12-under 204 total on the Montgomeri­e Maxx Royal course.

At Rome, Georgia, the Rhodes women’s cross country team placed fourth and the men’s team sixth in the NCAA South Regional meet Saturday. Rhodes’ Brittany Alexander was third in the 6,000-meter women’s race with a time of 21:52.87, which sends her to the NCAA Championsh­ip race Nov. 22 in Mason, Ohio. For the men, Alex Noel was fourth with a time of 25:37.74, also qualifying him for the NCAA Championsh­ip race.

Fourth-seeded Valdosta State got a goal in the 107th minute to defeat fifth-seeded Christian Brothers University 1-0 in double-overtime Friday night in the first round of the women’s soccer NCAA Division 2 South Regional at Winter Park, Florida. The Lady Bucs finish 13- 6.

Takahiro Norimoto combined with three relievers on a no-hitter, and Japan beat the Major League Baseball AllStars 4-0 in Tokyo on Saturday in a game in which Seattle Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano broke his toe.

Norimoto, who was 14-10 with a 3.02 ERA this season for the Rakuten Eagles, struck out six over five perfect innings.

Cano was hit by a pitch on the right foot in the seventh inning. The Mariners confirmed that X-rays revealed a fracture in his small toe and he is expected to miss 3-4 weeks.

Hayato Sakamoto and Sho Nakata each hit a two-run homer as Japan took a 3-0 lead in the five-game series.
