- Spring Fling Bridge Benefit Germantown 50+ Group duplicate bridge line dances. Potluck and Bingo

Germantown Community Library, 1925 Exeter. Tips and tricks for successful container gardening, plus a sneak peek at upcoming Farm Park events will be presented by staff. A hands-on demonstrat­ion will be included.

Germantown United Methodist Women will sponsor its on April 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Germantown United Methodist Church in the OLEC Building, 2323 West St. Proceeds will go toward funding the many missions sponsored by the Germantown Methodist Women. The event will include lunch, door prizes, a style show, and a unique boutique where you can shop during your nonplay time. Other card games and board games may be played, but players should bring their own game equipment. Register by Tuesday at the informatio­n desk in the church’s welcome center or at the desk at the entrance to the OLEC Building.

The offers opportunit­ies to meet people, socialize with friends, eat, dance or take a trip. Events include:

ACBL sanctioned Wednesdays at 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Pickering Center, 7771 Poplar Pike. Cost is $5. Bring a lunch and a partner.

Improve coordinati­on, memory skill and energy level while learning a variety of country and western, soul and Latino Beginner dances are taught during the first hour, and intermedia­te dances will be taught the last half-hour. The class is 1:30-3 p.m. Mondays at the Pickering Center. The $10 punch card includes five classes.
