MLK observance delays garbage pickups in city

City of Memphis offices were closed for Good Friday, and will be closed again Monday for Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Day, delaying garbage pickups until Tuesday.

Solid Waste Management will collect little or no waste outside of garbage carts immediately following the holidays.

The holiday doesn’t affect trash schedules of customers serviced by Inland Waste Solutions.
