MARRIAGE REQUIREMENTS
Marriage requirements vary from state to state, though the U.S. Supreme Court ruling legalizing same-sex marriage in all 50 states says couples of the same gender can marry everywhere, and have those marriages recognized everywhere, provided they meet the same minimum requirements as others. Here are age requirements locally: Arkansas: 18 without parental consent. Males may marry at 17 with consent and girls may marry at 16 with consent. Mississippi: 21 without consent, 17 for males and 15 for females with consent. Tennessee: 18 without parental consent, 16 for both males and females with consent.
