The 15th annual event will be Sept. 19, from 6:30-10 p.m., at Hilton Memphis, 939 Ridge Lake Blvd. Enjoy specialty samplings from more than 30 restaurants, caterers and beverage distributors of the Germantown and Greater Memphis area. Pack a picnic and enjoy a performance by the Germantown Symphony Orchestra at Municipal Park Sept. 19, at 5:30 p.m., for the concert. The free program features the choirs of Germantown and Houston High Schools.
Germantown’s for children ages 2 to 6, will be Sept. 19 at Farmington Park, 2085 Cordes. Young ones will run, bike and swim (run through firetruck spray) to the finish line, where everyone receives a gold medal. Bring a bicycle or tricycle. A size-appropriate helmet is required. Start time for 2 to 3 years old is 10 a.m., 4 to 6 years old at 10:30 a.m. Cost to register is $7 and includes a T-shirt for those who register by Aug. 28. No event day registration.
