Cordova Presbyterian honors new pastor
Cordova Presbyterian Church members were excited to honor the Rev. Ruth Lovell Bradham during Pastor Appreciation Week.
A native Memphian, Bradham has dedicated her professional career to caring for people of all ages, from her work with youth as director of Camp Pinecrest, associate pastor positions at Shady Grove Presbyterian Church and Farmington Presbyterian Church and her work as coordinator and manager of family care at the MidSouth Transplant Foundation. In March, Cordova Presbyterian Church enthusiastically welcomed Bradham as its pastor. Since then, she has brought her passion and zeal for seeking and hearing God’s will and direction to our growing congregation.
With her help, the church family has worshipped and prayed faithfully, welcomed visitors and new members, increased worship attendance, extended hospitality through fellowship events, cooked and delivered nearly 30 Casseroles for Care, knitted countless prayer shawls, visited with the homebound and sick, supported clean water focused mission work in Mexico, collected funds monthly for Heifer Project and more.
God has truly blessed the congregation. The members and friends of Cordova Presbyterian Church want to express their love and appreciation to Bradham and all of the tireless hours she has committed to this church and its families.
