MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRLS IN TOWN

Northwest Beauty Review finds its winner: Southaven’s Rachel Pearl Jackson.

Northwest Mississipp­i Community College freshman Rachel Pearl Jackson of Southaven was named Most Beautiful at the Northwest Beauty Review.

The event was held in Howard Coliseum on the Senatobia campus. Twenty-three young women competed in this year’s event.

Jackson is the 20-year-old daughter of Monica Jackson and the late Andy Jackson. She is a sophomore at DeSoto Center studying biology and hopes to become an orthopedic surgeon. While at Northwest, Jackson has been on the Dean’s and President’s lists and was recently inducted into Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. She enjoys riding and racing her horses, working out and spending time with family and friends.

The first-runner-up in this year’s event was 19-year-old Sarah Raziano. She is originally from Helena, Arkansas and currently resides in Coldwater. She is the daughter of Kenny and Wendy Fletcher. She is a freshman at the Senatobia campus studying general college and hopes to be accepted into the nursing program. She enjoys traveling and competing in rodeo barrel racing events. She attends Evansville Baptist Church and enjoys teaching Sunday School with her mother.

Madeline (Maddi) Cade Lambert of Hernando was this year’s second-runner-up. She is the daughter of Rick and Malisa Lambert of Hernando. She is a freshman at the Senatobia campus studying general college and hopes to go into the medical field. She is a Ranger cheerleade­r who was elected to the 2015 Homecoming Court. One of Lambert’s favorite memories at Northwest was cheering the Northwest Rangers as they won the NCJAA National Championsh­ip. She enjoys improving her cheerleadi­ng skills and spending time with her family, friends and boyfriend.

This year’s third-runner-up was Mary Alexis Wigley of Olive Branch. She is 18, and the daughter of Christy Pearson Wigley of Olive Branch and Damian Wrigley of Hernando. Wigley is a freshman at the DeSoto Center studying general college with hopes to become a pediatrici­an. Wigley was 2015 Miss Lewisburg and appeared in a Disney segment of “It’s My Life.” Wigley is a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Hernando and is a community volunteer. She enjoys watching Alabama football, riding four-wheelers, hunting and participat­ing in pageants. She plans to attend the University of Mississipp­i and continue her medical education.

The fourth-runner-up for this year’s Beauty Review was Kendall Elaine McCoy, a 20-year- old sophomore from Olive Branch. She is the daughter of Mike and Kristy McCoy. Burns is studying nursing on the Senatobia campus at Northwest. She is a Rangerette, a member of the Ranger Tennis team, the Student Nurses Associatio­n and a Diamond Girl captain for the Northwest Ranger baseball team. McCoy was elected to the 2015 Homecoming Court and was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. She is on the Dean’s List. McCoy was awarded Presidenti­al, Foundation and Rotary Club scholarshi­ps. She teaches taekwondo and competes in martial arts tournament­s as a fourth degree black belt. She is the reigning Miss North Mississipp­i, Miss Springfest, Miss Christmas of the South and Miss Heart of St. Jude. She enjoys scrapbooki­ng, modeling, reading and spending time with family and friends.
