Ground broken for newest Kroger
Ground was broken in Arlington on Kroger’s first store in West Tennessee to sell not just groceries, but home fashion and decor, bed and bath items, kitchen and small appliances, and apparel and shoes.
The Kroger Marketplace will also offer Arlington’s first Starbucks.
The new grocery will replace the existing Kroger in Arlington.
“Arlington is rapidly growing and we are proud to build the first Kroger Marketplace Store in West Tennessee in this great town,” said Pamela Matthews, vice president, operations, for Kroger Delta Division.
The Kroger Marketplace will anchor The Shops at Arlington Village, a development by Dallasbased SHOP Development.
