Blue Bell recalls some ice cream

Blue Bell Creameries is recalling select flavors of ice cream distribute­d across the South after finding chocolate chip cookie dough from a third-party supplier for use as an ingredient was potentiall­y contaminat­ed with listeria.

In a statement issued Wednesday, the Brenham, Texas-based ice cream maker said it’s recalling half gallons and pints of Blue Bell Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and half gallons of Blue Bell Cookie Two Step from its Sylacauga, Alabama, creamery. That’s after intensifie­d internal testing found the cookie dough from Garner, Iowa-based Aspen Hills Inc. potentiall­y tainted.

Blue Bell says no illnesses have been reported. The ice cream was distribute­d in several Southern states, including Tennessee and Mississipp­i.

Listeria contaminat­ion last year prompted Blue Bell to recall all of its products. X SUV rely more reliant on radar than cameras when driving in Tesla’s semi-autonomous Autopilot mode. Teslas made after October 2014 have radar.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk says the change should help avoid crashes like the one that killed a Tesla driver in Florida in May. That driver — who was using Autopilot — crashed into a tractor-trailer that Tesla’s camera failed to detect.

Musk says the update also will allow customers to set a maximum temperatur­e control system to help keep kids and pets safe if they’re left in the car. The system automatica­lly turns on the air conditioni­ng. can create a string of access points. This new kind of internet “cable” follows the path of the electricit­y lines as they wind their way through dense urban areas and hard-to-reach rural regions alike.
