TVA expects to draw 3.5 million gallons of pure drinking water a day from the Memphis Sand aquifer to use for cooling its new power plant equipment (“TVA cleared to drill final two wells,” Sept. 22). Where is the outcry from the city of Memphis, West Tennessee residents, the state of Tennessee and the state of Mississippi? The Mississippi River water may require some cleaning, but it could serve the power plant needs. The river water will require much more cleaning if some day it becomes our drinking water.

Until that becomes the norm, law officers and civilians can continue to be suspicious of each other.

I have never seen evidence that someone was shot because he or she obeyed a lawful command by a cop. If someone can show that, I will probably be in the street at the next protest.

Parents, teach your children respect for authority and expect that they will come home tonight. the wild man carrying the Republican standard than the chance of surviving, unscathed, a regime operating government to achieve the goals of the Democrats’ platform.

These Trump supporters believe Clinton is substantially more deplorable, more dangerous and less able to be harnessed.

Are these Trump supporters in Clinton’s deplorables basket? These are Trump supporters she should most fear because they will be around after the election and have the savvy know-how and will be in positions to derail the Democrats.

Clinton sees voters as dolts who must be herded because they are too stupid to figure out where to go. What an insult.
