MOSCOW – U.S. as­tro­naut Nick Hague thanked Rus­sian res­cue teams Fri­day for reach­ing him and his Rus­sian crew­mate af­ter an aborted launch left them on the steppes of Kaza­khstan. The Soyuz rocket with Hague and Rus­sian cos­mo­naut Alexei Ov­chinin aboard failed two min­utes af­ter Thurs­day’s launch, re­leas­ing them in a res­cue cap­sule.
