Just in time for the holiday rush, Dinstuhl’s opened a new candy store on Nov. 30.

The new store, at 231 New Byhalia Road in Collierville, is the fourth location for this Memphis-based candy company.

“Collierville is one of the fastestgrowing cities in the state of Tennessee,” president Rebecca Dinstuhl said of the decision to expand into this new market.

The location of the new store was also an incentive for opening in Collierville.

“We found a great location on the busy corner of Byhalia Road and Poplar,” Dinstuhl said. “Our customers can easily pull right in, park and make a quick trip to our store.”

The 2,000-square-foot location is slightly larger than the existing stores. Dinstuhl said the configuration allows for more shopping area.

The extra space also allows Dinstuhl’s to feature and try some new designs.

“We have a chocolate drip wall at this location,” Dinstuhl said. “Nothing says ‘chocolate’ more than this wall. It really makes for a fun atmosphere.”

Dinstuhl’s has been making chocolates and candies in Memphis since 1902. The company is known for such signature sweets as Cashew Crunch, Chocolate Pecan Fudge and Chocolate Covered Strawberries.

The company also has locations in East Memphis at the Laurelwood Shopping Center, in Germantown and on Pleasant View Road.

The Collierville location will be open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon-5 p.m. Sunday.
