ROCKETS 141, Cavaliers 113: James Harden had 43 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists in three quarters to lead the Houston Rockets to a rout of the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday night. After the Cavaliers got a 117-108 win in the first meeting with Houston this season, the Rockets were determined to take care of business this time around. Mavericks 119, TIMBERWOLVES 115: Luka Doncic scored 30 points and the Mavericks ended a seven-game losing streak against Phoenix with a 104-94 victory over the last-place Suns on Wednesday night. The 19-year-old rookie put the Mavericks ahead for good with a 3-pointer early in the second half before getting one of his five assists on a jump-pass from nearly half court out of a double team to Deandre Jordan for a dunk. JAZZ 113, Lakers 95: Donovan Mitchell had 33 points and a career-high nine assists, helping the Utah Jazz beat the Lakers 113-95 on Friday night. Utah (22-21) made 15 3-pointers in its fourth win in five games. Rudy Gobert had 12 points and a season-high 18 rebounds. BLAZERS 127, Hornets 96: CJ Mccollum had 30 points and Damian Lillard scored 20 before resting in the fourth quarter, and the Blazers routed the Hornets.
