Here's a look at promotions, hirings, movers and newsmakers in the Memphis area: h Accounting and consulting firm Reynolds, Bone & Griesbeck announced that Abby Eubank, Alexis Lowe, Nicholas Morris and Janae Westbrook have been hired as audit interns, and will assist with audit engagements. Eubank is studying at the University of Tennessee at Martin and expects to graduate in December 2021 with a major in Accounting. Lowe is a student at the University of Mississippi. Morris attends the University of Memphis and expects to graduate with a Bachelor of Business Administration this December. A graduate of the University of Mississippi with a degree in Accounting, she is pursuing a master's degree in taxation at the University of Memphis. h Attorney Stephen H. Billerrecently was named as chairman of the Memphis Civil Service Commission by Mayor Jim Strickland. He has been a commissioner since 2017 and in private practice since 2014. h Memphis development professional Anna Kathryn Word joined the staff at MIFA as chief development officer. This is her second stint at the agency having served as chief development officer during 2007-2011. Before returning to MIFA, Word led development efforts at Facing History and Ourselves, the Junior League of Memphis and Catholic Charities. She holds a masters degree in public administration from the University of Memphis, where she serves as adjunct faculty in the School of Urban Affairs and Public Policy. Also at MIFA, Arnetta Stanton Macklin was promoted from vice president of Advancement into a new role as chief advocacy and engagement officer. h inferno full-service advertising, public relations, design and digital marketing firm, promoted Greg Miller to creative director of video. He joined the agency in 2003 and most recently served as video producer/director. h Crye-leike Real Estate Services hired Brittany Fox as a licensed Realtor with its Atoka, Tennessee, branch office. She'll primarily serve the residential real estate needs of buyers and sellers throughout Lauderdale, Tipton and Shelby counties. h St. Louis-based law firm Lewis Rice added several summer associates, including Memphis native Caitlin Triplett. She earned an undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis. Triplett studied abroad in the Czech Republic and interned for the House Judiciary Committee in Washington, and the St. Louis Circuit Attorney's Office in the Crime Strategies Unit. She is a law student at Washington University, expecting to receive her juris doctor in 2022. h Cato Johnson, Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare's Senior Vice President and Chief of Staff, was appointed to the Tennessee Historical Commission. and will serve a five-year term with the commission. Selected by Gov. Bill Lee last month, Johnson will represent West Tennessee and, along with the 24member commission, will make recommendations on how best to preserve and honor Tennessee history. He currently is the chair for the State's Tenncare Advisory Committee, most recently served on the Governor's Healthcare Working Group to establish best practices for re-opening the state-wide and local economies.
