KNICKS 91, Magic 84: R.J. Barrett scored 22 points and had 10 rebounds, and Julius Randle added 21 points and 17 rebounds to lead the New York Knicks to a 91-84 win over the Orlando Magic on Monday. The Knicks improved to 7-8 with their second straight win.
HAWKS 108, Timberwolves 97: Clint Capela had 23 points and 15 rebounds, De’andre Hunter scored 25 and the Hawks beat the Timberwolves 108-97 on Monday.
The Hawks, wearing black, tan and white uniforms with “MLK” sewn across the chest to commemorate the national holiday honoring slain civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr., snapped a twogame skid.
Spurs 125, TRAIL BLAZERS 104: Lamarcus Aldridge had 22 points, Demar Derozan had 20 points and 11 assists as the Spurs defeated the Trail Blazers 125-104 on Monday. Damian Lillard led Portland with 35 points.
GRIZZLIES 108, Suns 104: Ja Morant had 17 points and 10 assists and took a key charge late as the Memphis Grizzlies won their fifth straight, beating the Phoenix Suns 108-104 on Monday.
Bucks at NETS, late: The Nets averaged
14.8 points off of turnovers, 13.6 second chance points and 36.7 bench points last season. The Bucks averaged 118.7 points per game last season, 18.3 on free throws and 41.4 from beyond the arc.
Mavericks at RAPTORS, late: The Raptors averaged 19.5 points off of turnovers, 11.9 second chance points and 33.4 bench points last season. The Mavericks shot 46.1% from the field and 36.7% from 3-point range last season.
Pistons at HEAT, late: The Pistons defeated the Heat 120-100 in their last meeting on Jan. 16. Jerami Grant led Detroit with 24 points, and Bam Adebayo paced Miami with 28 points.
Rockets at BULLS, late: The Bulls averaged 106.8 points per game last season, 15.5 from the free throw line and 36.6 from beyond the arc. The Rockets averaged 8.7 steals, 5.2 blocks and 14.7 turnovers per game last season.
Warriors at LAKERS, late: The Lakers averaged 19 points off of turnovers, 14.1 second chance points and 39.3 bench points last season. The Warriors shot 43.8% from the field and 33.4% from 3-point range last season.
