Mary Ann Willett, 80, died January 15, 2021 surrounded by her loving husband of 59 years and her eight devoted children. Mrs. Willett was born on August 15, 1940 in Carlisle County, Kentucky. Anyone who knew her would agree that she was the sweetest, kindest, most loving, and selfless person they ever met. Her beaming smile was infectious, and her warm heart touched everyone she encountere­d. Mary Ann was an adoring wife, mother, and grandmothe­r to the large family she nurtured. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Elton Willett; her children, Linda Paluso (Kevan) of Murray, KY; Debbie Green of Bartlett, TN; David Willett (Rhonda) of Bartlett, TN; Kathy Cunningham (Ron) of Nashville, TN; Stephen Willett (Laura) of Memphis, TN; Melissa Glaser (Patrick) of Bartlett, TN; Angela Levin (Nick) of Eads, TN; and Jessica Willett (Lindsey) of Southaven, MS; her brother, Daniel Hayden (Wanda) of Bardwell, KY; sisters Bobbie Eads (Sid – deceased) of Paducah, KY; Patricia Mosley (Jim) of Nashville, TN; and Elaine Cope (Ron) of Mayfield, KY; 17 grandchild­ren and one great-grand child. Mrs. Willett was preceded in death by her parents, William Allard Hayden and Mary Aunita Hayden. She was a lifelong communican­t of the Catholic Church and a parishione­r of St. Ann Catholic Church in Bartlett, TN for the past 50 years. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 20th at St. Ann Church in Bartlett, TN from 10-11am with a funeral Mass following. Visitation will also be held at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Fancy Farm, KY from 11:00 am followed by a graveside service at 12:00 PM on Thursday, January 21 in St. Jerome Cemetery in Fancy Farm, KY.
