Here's a look at promotions, hirings, movers and newsmakers in the Memphis area:
The Memphis accounting and consulting firm Reynolds, Bone & Griesbeck announced the promotions of Ross Braswell, Hunter Stock, Elizabeth “EA” Mccarty, Connor Shannon and Mitch West. Braswell joined the firm in 1994, and with this promotion he moves from firm technology manager to financial controller. Stock joined the firm in 2013 and served as tax senior and tax manager, and is now tax senior manager. Mccarty, Shannon and West joined RBG in 2018, 2019 and 2020, respectively, serving in the audit department. With their promotions, all three are now audit seniors.
Creative communications consulting firm DCA hired Emma Meskovic as digital content manager. In the position she'll grow content creation and public engagement opportunities. Prior to joining DCA, Meskovic managed and designed social media, digital and print presences of Edible Memphis, a primary food-focused resource. She also served as Ghost River Brewing's taproom manager and was volunteer coordinator of Creative Works Conference.
Good Shepherd Health, the parent company for Good Shepherd Pharmacy, Remedichain and Haloscrips, announced Michell Zulu has joined the team as its new chief pharmacy officer. Among her responsibilities will be coordinating an apprenticeship program for pharmacy technicians, facilitating Remedichain's nationwide drug recycling/ reclamation and working in association with the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy faculty as needed. She earned her doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
The Orpheum Theatre Group, the nonprofit organization that operates the historic Orpheum Theatre and the Halloran Centre for Performing Arts & Education, added three new members to its board of directors. Serving three-year terms will be Leslie Coleman, global director, Diversity & Inclusion for International Paper; Thomas E. Holmes Jr., senior vice president, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer for Evolve Bank & Trust; and Devin Williams, president, Greenway Home Services.
The Hamilton Eye Institute at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center added Kim Hurley as its new practice administrator. She joins the practice with experience managing a pediatric ophthalmology practice in Memphis. Prior to joining the pediatric ophthalmology Hurley held several other positions in adult/children ophthalmology groups.
The Society for Information Management Memphis chapter, a not-forprofit organization of information technology experts, announced its 2021 board of directors. Hopeworks hired Dr. Stephane Cole as the director of adult education and Latrina Stewart as its director of workforce development and outreach. Hopeworks' adult education program operates in-person and virtually at sites across the city. Cole's background is in education and nonprofits and she has a master's degree in pastoral counseling from Liberty University and a doctorate in Christian counseling from Jacksonville Theological Seminary. At the University of Memphis, Stewart earned a joint bachelor's degree in sociology and criminology as well as criminal justice. She also has a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling After working as a probation-parole officer for the state of Tennessee, she transitioned to counseling and workforcefocused work within the reentry field.

Native Memphian Stephanie Hale and Tracy Prewitt recently joined the Peer Power Foundation, a nonprofit organization that hires and trains high-performing college students — Success Coaches — to tutor and mentor high school students in Shelby County Schools. Hale is the new director of Human Resources while Prewitt is the new director of Finance. With nearly 20 years of experience, Hale has expertise in talent recruitment and development, administering company policies and employee benefits in nonprofit and for-profit industries. She holds a master's degree in Human Resources from Webster University. Prewitt has more than 20 years of experience in finance, business management and education. She earned a master's degree from the University of Phoenix and is a current Education PH.D. candidate at the University of Memphis.
Junior Achievement of Memphis and the Mid-south recently was awarded a $10,000 grant by the Simmons First Foundation, the charitable giving arm of Simmons Bank. The grant will support JA'S Inspire Program, designed to encourage and educate local middle school students. JA Inspire gives middle school students a creative look at various job options through a combination of classroom learning and interactive job exploration. JA plans to grow JA Inspire exponentially over the next year.
