Gary Lane Mercer

ARLINGTON - Gary Lane Mercer, of Arlington, Tennessee passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021. HE was born on March 16, 1941 in Dyer, TN, to the late Clint “Doc” and Evelyn Mercer. He was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church.

Gary is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 59 years, Carolyn, and their two daughters, Karri Wilmore (Kyle), and Shawna Burk (Glenn). Gary was also Papaw to his four grandchildren, Karlie Burk Warner, Callie Wilmore, Parker Burk, and Maddie Wilmore. He was preceded in death by his son Steven Lane Mercer. Gary also leaves his sister, Shirley Wetzel, and one brother, Ronnie Mercer.

The Family will receive friends from 12:30pm until service time at 2pm, on Friday, April 16, 2021, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Parkway Bartlett, TN 38133.
