Connie Sue Conkel

BARTLETT - Connie Sue Conkel, 73, of Bartlett, TN passed away March 28th, 2021.

She was born to the late Charles and Dorothy Holtmyer on August 8th, 1947 in Greenfield, IA. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Tricia Leggett and her brother, Gary Lynn Holtmyer.

Connie is survived by her husband of 53 years, Bill Conkel; daughter Melissa Cooper; stepson, Will Conkel (Jacquelyn); son-in-law, Scott Leggett; grandchildren, Megan Barnes (Ryan), Craig Conkel (Shylo), Chelsea Conkel, Cameron Cooper, Caelan Cooper, Riley Leggett, Olivia Leggett, Alyssa Leggett; great-grandchildren, Zoe Jane Barnes, Laila Margaret Barnes, Penelope Rae Conkel, Hazel Ann Conkel; and her brother, Keith Holtmyer (Jains). Memorials may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Family will receive friends from 1:00pm on Monday, May 3rd at Way Point Baptist Church, 5586 Stage Rd, Bartlett, TN. Services will follow at 2:00pm. Burial will be at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN.
