Russell Bertrand Foshee passed away on April 12, 2021, at the age of 91. Born in Memphis, TN, to Ross and Vesta Foshee, he was the oldest of seven children. After graduating from high school, he married the love of his life, Jacqueline Elizabeth Miller, on February 14, 1949.

A peaceful and very caring man, he will be greatly missed by Jacqueline, his wife of 72 years; daughters Debbi Foshee and Elizabeth Hewgley (Mike); his son Jonathan Foshee (Dina); granddaugh­ters Amanda Hewgley and Christina Cunningham (Jon); grandson Alex Foshee; brothers Edwin Foshee, Carl Foshee (Rosie) and Donald Foshee (Carolyn); sister Marilyn Willis and sister-in-law Joyce Campbell, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond and Walter Foshee.

A private graveside service will be held Friday at Forest Hill-east. A celebratio­n of his life will take place on Saturday, April 17 at 2pm (visitation at 1pm) at Christ the King Lutheran Church on Park Avenue in Memphis, TN.

Donations in Russell’s name may be made to Christ the King Memorial Garden, the Job Comfort Dog Ministry (through Christ the King) or the American Cancer Society.
