Linda Whitehead Haywood

OLIVE BRANCH - Linda Whitehead Haywood, 72, of Olive Branch, MS passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Memphis. (200 East Parkway North, Memphis, TN 38112) Linda will be interred at Southern Palms Memorial Gardens in North Myrtle Beach, SC at a later date.

Linda was born on August 29, 1948 in Norfolk, VA and was a resident of Silvercreek Senior Living in Olive Branch. Linda was a member of First Baptist Church of Memphis and she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Linda is survived by her husband of 52 years, Ken Haywood of Olive Branch; daughter, Shelby Haywood of Olive Branch; son, Chris (Kelley) Haywood of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Emily and Wyatt Haywood of Olive Branch, Jack, Alex and Todd Haywood of Charlotte, NC; sister, Suzanne (Jeff) Levere of Yarrow Point, WA; nieces, Kerrick King of Fallbrook, CA, Julie Moretz of Lexington, NC, Jane Hall of Trinity, NC, Natalie Schweikert of Denton, NC and nephew, Justin White of Southern Pines, NC.

Linda Haywood was preceded in death by her parents, Emily and Claiborne Whitehead and sister, Patricia Ann Fleming.

In lieu of traditional flowers, memorials can be made in memory of Linda Whitehead Haywood to First Baptist Church of Memphis (General Fund) at www.fbcmemphis.org.
