Both shootings happened on June 8 in South Memphis with the first one around 3 p.m. and the second at about 6:40 p.m. Police collected approximately 130 spent shell casings at the shooting scene at the 1500 block of East Mclemore, Weirich said.

Police said the shootings injured and endangered many people including a 70-year-old woman shot in both legs, a 2-year-old girl struck in one leg, a 24year-old man shot three times in the back and a 26-year-old man shot in the leg.

The suspects, captured on a porch camera, drove up to the area in a silver Mercedes and a black Mercedes G Wagon with a black Mercedes sedan involved in the second shooting.

The porch camera video also showed the men armed with rifles and handguns shooting at the home with people on the front porch running for cover, Weirich said.

One suspect police believed was involved in the shootings was found shot dead with another man on Aug. 14 in a car on the 4300 block of Falcon Drive.
