Peggy Ann Drake

Peggy Ann Drake, 64, passed away on July 20, 2021. She is preceded in death by her husband Ernest L. Drake. She is survived by her daughter Samantha Drake Freeman, step-daughters Angelia Drake Caronia, Michelle Drake Keith, and stepson Phillip Scott Drake.

Peggy put her family above everything else.

She loved Border collies, daffodils, patchwork quilts and hallmark movies.

Besides her daughter and step-children, Peggy is survived by her brother Leon Jeffreys, sister Deborah King, as well as her grandchildren Jeremiah Presson, Jonah Presson, Joey Oldham, and Patrick Mitchell.

Peggy loved taking family road trips. She packed in as much activity as possible during everyday of a family vacation. She loved hosting holidays and get togethers for birthdays, baby showers etc. Nothing made her happier than decorating and cooking for special events with her friends and family. Spending time with her grandsons was also priceless to her, whether it was coloring, bowling, or just watching movies with them. Peggy always looked out for everyone she cared about to make sure they knew they were loved and thought of. If you were in her company you were family. From monogramed Christmas stockings to every childhood drawing or knickknack lovingly held on to forever, you knew you were precious to her. By Peggy’s request, there will be no service she requested no flowers be sent, but rather donations made to St. Jude.
