COLLIERVIL­LE - Reba Nell Trout, 93, finished her earthly journey on Friday, August 13, 2021. She left a worn and pained body for a fresh new adventure. She will be missed by everyone who met her, especially her loving family and friends.

She is proceeded in death by her husband, Charles E. Trout, sisters Virginia Greschuk (Myron), Wastel Powell (A.T.) and brother, Ralph Casey.

She is survived by her daughter, Charla Garrison (Eddie), son Charles “Chip” Trout (Jeanie); grand children, Keith Garrison, Rachel Hill (Matt) and Jenny Trout; great grandchild­ren, J. C. Hester, Bailey Garrison, Bryce Garrison, and Anderson Hill and many loved nieces and nephews. She is also survived by sisters in law, Yvonne Casey and Johnie Sue Coon.

Reba grew up in rural west Tennessee during the depression and Wwll in a family of farmers. She was successful in school and was proud to be the salutatori­an of her senior class. She moved to Memphis in the early 50s where she eventually met her husband, got married in 1956 and raised a family. Once the children were old enough, she worked in two high school administra­tions in Memphis City Schools until retiring from White Station High School where she made many life long friends.

Reba was very active in her church, Colonial Baptist, and loved to sew for her family and friends. She sewed many clothes for her children and grandchild­ren as they grew up. She couldn’t sit in her chair without doing something with her hands. She cross-stitched, made many quilts and knitted many scarves & blankets.
