RAYS 8, White Sox 4: Brandon Lowe, Manuel Margot and Joey Wendle each had two hits and two RBIS, and Tampa Bay beat Chicago. Wander Franco also had two hits and scored twice for the Rays.

Royals at CUBS, late: Salvador Perez hit two of Kansas City’s five home runs in the Royals’ 6-2 victory over Chicago on Friday. Emmanuel Rivera hit his first career homer, and Andrew Benitendi and Cam Gallagher also connected.

Tigers at BLUE JAYS, late: Pinch-hitter Harold Castro singled home the goahead run in the 10th inning and Detroit beat Toronto 4-1 on Friday night. Detroit slugger Miguel Cabrera remained at 499 career home runs.

Mets at DODGERS, late: Walker Buehler pitched two-run ball into the eighth inning and Los Angeles beat New York 3-2 Friday night for its eighth straight win. Buehler (13-2) struck out eight and allowed six hits over 72⁄3 innings.

Nationals at BREWERS, late: Patrick Corbin broke out of his slump by pitching three-hit ball into the seventh inning and Washington beat Milwaukee 4-1 on Friday night. Corbin (7-12) struck out seven.

Giants at ATHLETICS, late: Josh Harrison hit a two-run single, Starling Marte added an RBI double, and Oakland beat San Francisco 4-1 on Friday night. James Kaprielian pitched three-hit ball over five innings.

Angels at CLEVELAND, late: Franmil Reyes hit a towering three-run homer and tied his career high with five RBIS, powering Cleveland to a 9-1 rout of Los Angeles on Friday night.

Mariners at ASTROS, late: Yordan Álvarez homered and had four RBIS as Houston jumped on Yusei Kikuchi early and cruised to a 12-3 win over Seattle on Friday. Álvarez and Jake Meyers hit two-run homers off Kikuchi (7-7).

Marlins at REDS, late: Sonny Gray pitched one-hit ball through seven scoreless innings, Tyler Naquin and Joey Votto homered in the fifth, and Cincinnati beat Miami 5-3 on Friday night.

Braves at ORIOLES, late: Travis d’arnaud celebrated his new contract with a two-run homer, Jorge Soler also went deep and Atlanta beat Baltimore 3-0 Friday night, extending its winning streak to seven games.

Rangers at RED SOX, late: Chris Sale pitched five shutout innings in his second outing since Tommy John surgery to help the Red Sox beat Texas 6-0 on Friday night and bounce back after a sweep to the Yankees.

Pirates at CARDINALS, late: Mitch Keller struck out six over five solid innings, Gregory Polanco drove in two runs and Pittsburgh beat St. Louis 4-0 on Friday night.

D-backs at ROCKIES, late: Pinch-hitter Sam Hilliard hit a go-ahead RBI triple in the sixth inning, Garrett Hampson homered and Colorado beat Arizona 9-4 Friday night. C.J. Cron had three hits and two RBIS.

Phillies at PADRES, late: Bryce Harper hit a two-run homer and Philadelph­ia snapped a four-game losing streak with a 4-3 victory over San Diego on Friday in a matchup of struggling teams.
