Donald C. Bradley
Donald C. Bradley, 85, beloved husband, brother and father went home to be with his Lord, October, 8, 2021. Donald was honorably retired from the Marine Corp with 36 years of accumulated service. After retiring from the military in 1966, he worked and retired in 1994, from NorthropGrumman Corporation as a design engineer on the Stealth Bomber in 1994. The military was always his love; however, he was ordained as a minister in 2003 and found another love. He ministered to Native Americans, preaching, praying and loving them. He served as chaplain in the local Marine Corps League. His goal was praying for at least one person everyday and has met that goal, even upon death. Donald was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Alonzo Bradley, his mother, Jewell Bradley, and step mother, Mary Ellen Bradley, a son, David Bradley, and a brother, Bobby Jo Bradley. Survived by his wife of 54 years, Lola M. Bradley, son Donald G. Bradley, daughter, Patti Anne Bradley, Step-son Stanley Viestenz, Step-daughter, Deborah G. Clark; a sister, Shelby J. Wilhelm, step-brother Gayle “Ben” Bradley.
Donald’s love for the Lord, led him to answer a call to minister to Native Americans and found the need during that time to teach them about the Bible. He founded and served as President for two corporations, Native American Missions Support and America Bile Institute. He was active in collecting data on life on the reservations. As a result of his vision, hundreds of students received Bible teaching, with many receiving degrees. Several of these students now minister in churches of their own.
Though he has passed on to his home in Heaven, his family finds comfort in knowing he has a new life, in the presence of our Lord Jesus. He left behind a legacy of demonstrating the power and the need for prayer. He will be missed by all who knew him. The family will be receiving friends, Wednesday, October 20th 2021, at Labelle Haven Church 4800 Hwy 305 N. Olive Branch, MS ,11:30 am – 12:30 pm with Services at 12:30.
