NASHVILLE - Helen June Neth Wilson, born May 8, 1928 in Helena, Arkansas, died October 30, 2021 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents Charles Neth and Myrtle Corbett and sister Mary Lou Neth Kahn.

She is survived by her children Kenny Mccay (Clark Youngblood), Victoria Stacey (Paul Jr.), Charles Solis; grandchild­ren Steve Mccay (Laura), Jesse Riley (Jeanette), Paige Atherton; great-grandchild­ren Tyler Mccay, Conner Mccay, Chandler Mccay (Grace), Peyton Mccay (Maggie); Jacqualyn Hickman, Jacob Greer; great-great grandchild­ren Lilly Henderson, Raegan Hickman; niece Carolyn Kahn Landers (Bob).

Helen graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in Helena, Arkansas, and from St. Joseph’s Nursing School in Memphis, TN.

She had wide experience in many areas of nursing, including serving as the first instructor of the initial licensed practical nursing school in Forrest City, Arkansas. Most of her profession­al life was spent in occupation­al health nursing with Warwick Electronic­s/sanyo in Forrest City and Memphis Light, Gas, and Water.

After her 30 plus years of service at MLGW, Helen retired to Nashville, TN, where she was an active member of the Vanderbilt Bridge Club. In addition, she enjoyed classical music at the symphony and was an avid participan­t in Vanderbilt’s Lifelong Learners Program.

A very special thanks to Caris Hospice and to Helen’s granddaugh­ter Paige Atherton for her loving care.

Visitation with the family will be at Marshall-donnelly Combs, 201 25th Ave North, Nashville, TN, from 10:00am to 12:00pm on November 3, 2021, with a memorial service at 12:00pm, followed by a graveside service at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributi­ons to the American Heart Associatio­n.
