GERMANTOWN Ronald C. Warren, loving husband, father, and grandfather passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on 4-4-2022. His faith, courage, strength, and uncomplaining spirit carried him through years of medical challenges.

Ron was born on July 31, 1952 to Paul and Louise Warren. In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by his aunt and uncle, John and Blanche Abbott.

He was a graduate of Overton H.S. and Memphis State University. He was a tax accountant by profession and worked for several local firms before starting his private practice.

Family and friends will miss watching old movies, enjoying an excellent “tour guide,” and having deep conversation and guidance.

Ron is survived by wife, Carol Spiceland Warren, truly the love of his life. In 2018 they confirmed their special love by renewing their vows on their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary. Theirs was a rare and inspiring commitment. Ron is also survived by daughter Amanda Christopher ( Lee), who greatly enriched his life and with whom he enjoyed exchanging daily texts and jokes and acting as a personal food delivery service to her at work. Adoring grandchildren, Tori Alyssa Christopher, Elliott Louise Christopher, Sawyer Brooks Christopher, and Maxwell Irene Christopher will miss Papa Ron’s lap .... as will rescue dog, Hannah.

Ron also leaves bonus daughter Shelly Stackhouse ( Ricky) and loving in-laws Susan Livermore ( George), David Spiceland ( Charlene), and Kathy Andrews Moore (Steve). Ron also leaves close cousins, Sharon Mcgee and Marion Abbott, and special friends the “Orphans” and “High School Group.”

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 on April 20, 2022 at Memorial Park on Poplar Avenue with visitation at 1:00. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation, Memphis Animal Services, or to a charity of choice.
