Memphis Botanic Garden’s annual Live at the Garden concerts have been announced, with the series set to launch June 11 with a concert by pop/fusion outfit Steely Dan.

Four more shows will follow at the Garden’s Radians Amphitheater, with singer-songwriter Darius Rucker performing on July 15 and country trio Lady A playing on Aug. 20.

The Doobie Brothers 50th Anniversary Tour with Michael Mcdonald — which had been slated for Fedexforum in 2020 before being canceled due to COVID-19 — will play the Garden on Sept. 3. The series will close out with a performance by R&b/pop veterans Chicago on Oct. 20.

Sherry May, co-director of Live at the Garden, noted Live at the Garden is finally able to “get back to what feels like a normal concert season, POST-COVID.”

“We have a lot of star power and fan favorites on this lineup,” she said. “Collectively, these artists have sold over 175 million albums. This is the kind of lineup where you know every word to every song.”

Patrons are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and coolers to the concerts. Food trucks and bars are also located onsite, as well as pre-order catering.

New this year are free shuttles that will run from Laurelwood to the venue from 5 p.m. to midnight for each concert.

Season lawn passes for Live at the Garden are $255 for general admission and $300 for a premium pass, which allows patrons in 15 minutes prior to general gates opening. Live at the Garden is also offering a $375 season pit pass, a general admission lawn ticket with access to the standing room only pit located directly in front of the stage. Tickets to individual shows are $60 plus fees.

All passes and tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday through Ticketmaster. For more information on Live at the Garden, call (901) 636-4107 or go to liveatthegarden.com.
