Reba to headline concert at Fedexforum

Country music legend Reba Mcentire is returning to the road this fall and will make a concert stop in Memphis.

Following a successful run of concerts this spring, on Monday Mcentire announced a 17-date “Reba: Live in Concert” tour that will kick off in October. Mcentire will bring the show to the Fedexforum on Nov. 17.

Presented by Live Nation, the tour will feature fellow country hitmaker Terri Clark as the opener. In addition to the Memphis date, Mcentire will also be performing at Nashville’s Bridgeston­e

Arena on Oct. 21.

In a statement announcing the concerts, Mcentire said she “can’t wait to see everyone out on the road again this fall. We had so much fun in the spring and I’m ready to get back out there with my buddy Terri Clark!”

A member of the Country Music Hall of Fame – with 16 ACM Awards, 15 American Music Awards, nine People’s Choice Awards, six CMA Awards, three Grammy Awards and a GMA Dove Award – Mcentire is one of the genre’s biggeststa­rswith35ca­reerno.1hits and more than 56 million albums sold worldwide.

Mcentire’s latest release is CD/DVD set titled “My Chains Are Gone,” which finds her performing classic hymns and gospel songs.

Tickets for Mcentire’s Fedexforum show go on sale to the general public Friday at 10 a.m. on Ticketmast­er.com or at the Fedexforum box office.

An exclusive Fedexforum presale is available beginning Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. for current Memphis Grizzlies MVP Season Ticket Members, recipients of Fedexforum Event Alert emails and subscriber­s of Grizzlies enews.
