Tarantino responds to critics: ‘Then see something else’ Danner reveals she battled same ‘sneaky’ cancer that killed spouse

Quentin Tarantino is not changing his creative process to appease fans.

The “Pulp Fiction” director, 59, appeared on HBO Max and CNN’S “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?” on Friday where he addressed controversy over the violence in his movies and having actors in his films use racial profanity.

“You talk about being the conductor and the audience being the orchestra. So when people say, ‘Well there’s too much violence in his movies. He uses the N-word too often.’ You say what?” host Chris Wallace asked Tarantino.

Tarantino responded, “Then see something else.”

“If you have a problem with my movies then they aren’t the movies to go see. Apparently I’m not making them for you,” the director said.

Tarantino was widely criticized for his 2012 film “Django Unchained,” which repeated the racial slur over 100 times.

Blythe Danner secretly battled the same oral cancer that killed husband Bruce Paltrow, the actress is sharing for the first time.

In a cover story for People magazine published Monday, the “Meet The Parents” star, who is mom to Gwyneth Paltrow, said she found a lump in her neck in 2018 and was diagnosed with adenoid cystic carcinoma. “I started feeling very woozy and I was forgetting everything,” she told the outlet, noting that the lump was “right next to where Bruce had found his.”

Adenoid cystic carcinoma is a rare type of cancer that forms in the salivary glands, according the Cleveland Clinic.

Danner and producer/director Bruce Paltrow were married for more than 30 years until Paltrow died in 2002 at age 58 following a battle with throat cancer. The couple also share son Jake Paltrow, who is a director and actor as well.
