Jackie Loden Grisham

COLLIERVILLE - Jackie Loden Grisham 82, of Memphis, departed from this earth for her heavenly home on March 5, 2023.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 10, 2023 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm with funeral services to follow. All services and burial will be at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN.

Mrs. Grisham was born March 30, 1940 in Fulton, Mississippi to Jasper and Artis Loden. She graduated from Fulton High School in 1957 and moved to Memphis in 1958. She began a life of hard work that lasted 60 years. She worked at Bry’s department store and then retired from Firestone after 40 years, only to start a 15-year career with Home Realty Co. Mrs. Grisham attended Hope Presbyterian Church and was very active in charities of the Shrine Hospital for Children. She volunteered at St. Francis nursing home and offered her kind heart in comfort. She spent the last year of her life in the care of The Gardens of Germantown. She was a devoted grandmother, a caring mother and a loving wife. She will be missed dearly by family and friends.

Mrs. Grisham was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 39 years Charles M. Grisham and her brother Mr. Hugh Loden of Tupelo, Mississippi. She leaves her son, Marty C. Green (Sherri) of Collierville, Tennessee, her daughter, Debbie Tate (Ramon) of Hernando, Mississippi; Grandchildren, Cooper Green of Charleston, South Carolina, Connor Green (Catherine) of Nashville, Tennessee, Forrest Tate of Hernando, Mississippi, Carlie Tate of Hernando, Mississippi; a very special niece and nephew, Sherrie Safdari of Collierville, Tennessee and Mickey Loden of Tupelo, Mississippi; and a lifetime of friends and family. Family requests that donations be sent to the Shriners Hospital for Children, The Alzheimer’s Foundation or a charity of your choice.
