NASHVILLE - Kenneth Dale Hall, age 74, of Nashville, TN passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023, at his residence. He is survived by his brother, Alan P. Hall (Lois) of Mabelvale, AR; Sister, Janice Gail Franks (Ken) of Eagleville, TN; Nephew, William Kevin Hall (Monica) of South Mill, NC, and several great nieces and great nephews. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, John William and Lucille Hagar Hall. Kenneth grew up in the Woodbine area of Nashville, TN; In 1956 his parents purchased property on the Stones River in Donelson, TN. Kenneth attended Donelson High School, graduating in 1966. After High School he attended college at Middle Tennessee State University and worked for Aladdin Industries. He joined the United States Air Force in 1968. While in the Air Force, he trained to be an Air Traffic Controller. He was stationed for a time at Blythevill­e Air Force Base, then later served in Vietnam as an Air Traffic Controller in Detachment 11 of the 619th Tactical Control Squadron located on the island of Hon Tre, Vinh Nguyan, Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa, Vietnam. After being honorably discharged from the Air Force, he worked for the Internal Revenue Service for a short time before being selected as an Air Traffic Control Specialist working for the Federal Aviation Administra­tion (FAA). Kenneth started his career with FAA at the Jacksonvil­le Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) in Hilliard, FL., but worked most of his years with FAA at the Memphis ARTCC. Kenneth later worked for the Department of Defense (DOD) at the Memphis Defense Depot, where he retired. In the past year, he had moved back to his family home in Nashville, TN where he enjoyed visiting with neighbors and feeding the local wildlife.

A gathering of family and friends for Kenneth will be held Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Woodlawn-roesch-patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204, followed by a celebratio­n of life from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Graveside with military honors will be at 1:00 PM March 23, 2023 at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
