The first Desoto County Dining Week is coming in 2024
Mark your calendars! The first Desoto County Dining Week is set for Jan. 21-27.
“We welcome visitors throughout the year for concerts, shopping, youth sports tournaments and more, so we decided to create Desoto County Dining Week as something new, fun and engaging for not only those visitors, but also our local community,” said Jon Frost, Desoto County Tourism marketing director. “These establishments are what keep our residents happy and fed yearround, and by hosting the first Desoto County Dining Week, we hope to encourage everyone across the Mid-south to visit Desoto County and experience our wonderful culinary scene.”
The week will be the perfect time to check out (and revisit) the numerous locally owned establishments in Desoto County. With five cities included in Desoto
County — Southaven, Hernando, Horn Lake, Olive Branch and Walls, there will be lots of offerings for all types of dining.
Desoto County currently has 447 restaurants, 22 of which opened in 2023, and 15 more restaurants are set to open in 2024.
Participants will offer a special deal from Jan. 21-27. They offer might be a percentage off a dish or drink, a combo meal or menu item sold for a special price. A full list of participants and their dining week offerings will be listed the Desoto Country Visitors Center website in mid-january.
More information for restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries that would like to participate is available on visitdesotocounty.com.
