Pottstown Memorial Medical Center’s Senior Circle celebrates 9- year anniversary
In celebration of its 9th Anniversary, Pottstown Memorial Medical Center’s Senior Circle held their annual birthday party on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at the Gilbertsville Fire Hall. This year’s event featured a patriotic theme; and as a tribute to our country, attendees wore their red, white, and blue colors with pride.
Senior Circle members and guests were entertained with the singing of patriotic songs, dancing, music, door prizes, and the featured “American Tribute” performance made by Act I Production.
In addition, the Presentation of the Colors was provided by the Owen J Roberts High School, NJROTC Color Guard.
PMMC’s Senior Circle organization currently has over 1,900 members and has been part of the PMMC community since 2004. Senior Circle members actively participate in PMMC Senior Circle exercise and social programs, such as gentle yoga, water aerobics, chair dancing fitness, bingo, knit-crochet, and photo club as well as presentations on health topics by PMMC physicians. “Senior Circle encourages members to live their healthiest, most active lifestyle possible, and is committed to meeting the needs of seniors’ ages 50 years or better by encouraging an active lifestyle”, says Gail Warner, Senior Circle Advisor. “Celebrating 9 years of educational, wellness and social activities at PMMC, 325 members gathered at Gilbertsville Fire Hall for a day of fun and laughter.”
