Mas­ter Voice Class of­fered by in­ter­na­tion­ally ac­claimed so­prano

Ms. Othalie Gra­ham will be of­fer­ing a Mas­ter Voice Class at the Yocum In­sti­tute for Arts Ed­u­ca­tion, 3000 Penn Ave., West Lawn, on Oct. 15. Known for Opera, Gra­ham will work di­rectly with Berks County vo­cal­ists of dif­fer­ent ex­pe­ri­ence lev­els in a va­ri­ety of mu­si­cal styles.

“We are thrilled to of­fer this op­por­tu­nity to work with such a spe­cial tal­ent,” Bev­erly Houck, artis­tic di­rec­tor. “Othalie Gra­ham is one of the most ac­claimed voices in our gen­er­a­tion and a de­light­ful per­son who will in­spire any vo­cal­ist. Work­ing with Ms. Gra­ham will help singers en­hance and de­velop stronger tech­nique that can be used in any style of mu­sic. Ms. Gra­ham brings not only her strength as a singer and voice teacher, but her the­atri­cal tem­per­a­ment which is needed for all per­form­ers to suc­ceed in to­day’s world of per­for­mance.”
