The Corner Shoppe offers free Artisan Demos

Includes Glass blowing, Crocheting, and Gourd birdhouse painting

The Corner Shoppe will host several artisan demonstrations in the upcoming weeks which are free for anyone to attend.

Nov. 1, 11-2 Glass blowing demo

Nov. 6, 12-3 Crocheting demo, including a free crocheted item for anyone who makes a purchase during the demo

Nov. 8, 11-2 Gourd birdhouse painting demo

These artisan demos are part of The Montgomery County Best Kept Secrets Tour, which is a tour of gift shops, garden centers and cafes throughout the county that goes through November 10, 2018.

You do not have to purchase a ticket for the tour to view the demonstrations. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at The Corner Shoppe. For more information on the tour or the demos contact The Corner Shoppe at 610 3676884.

The Corner Shoppe is a gift shop serving our local area for over 20 years and representing dozens of local artists, carrying fair trade and recycled items as well as unique jewelry, home décor and antiques. The shop is housed in a restored 1850’s Colonial Revival home at the intersections of Philadelphia Ave, Swamp Pike, Route 73 (Big Road) and Gilbertsville Rd., across from the Gilbertsville Post Office.
