Free Child Immunizati­on Clinics: Visiting Nurse Associatio­n of Pottstown & Vicinity will hold free childhood immunizati­on clinics each month for uninsured and under-insured children (ages 0-18 years). Laughter Yoga: Thursday, Nov. 8, at 7 p.m. Join Laughter Yoga leader Chris Filippini: the second Thursday of each month for an evening of fun exercise. Laughter Yoga combines laughter exercises with deep yogic breathing to the gain health benefits of laughing without having to rely on humor. Bring a bottle of water and a willingnes­s to laugh on purpose. No mats needed. No fee required; donations to the library accepted. Use Church Street entrance.

Read, Think, Chat: Tuesday, Nov. 20, at 6:30 p.m. Join a lively discussion of books. The book to be discussed is “The Storied Life of A. J. Fikry” by Gabrielle Zevin. Cookbook Club and Monthly Potluck: Tuesday, Nov. 27, at 6:30 p.m. Sign up at the library to make a recipe from the cookbook of the month and then join to eat, discuss and share in joy of cooking (and baking). Featured cookbook: “The Gourmet Cookie Book: the single best recipe from each year 1941-2009.”
