For Rupert El­e­men­tary School kinder­gart­ners, a re­cent field trip to Fre­con Farms of­fered them a chance to pick the ap­ple of their eye. The stu­dents trav­eled to the land­mark farm just out­side Boy­er­town on Oct. 25 to pick ap­ples, learn about farm­ing and, en­joy some de­li­cious dough­nuts.
