Schools cel­e­brate fall fes­ti­vals

Fall­ing leaves, turkey, corn cobs and hay bales are just some of the images that come to mind for au­tumn. But an­other reg­u­lar oc­cur­rence ev­ery sea­son are the fall fes­ti­vals that take place at Pottstown’s school build­ings. Thanks to the viewfinder of dis­trict pho­tog­ra­pher Emily Over­dorf, here’s a look at some of those fes­tiv­i­ties at five of the bor­ough’s schools.

First-grade stu­dents at Ru­pert Ele­men­tary School are pass­ing the pump­kin dur­ing the school’s re­cent fall fes­ti­val.
